This position is primarily responsible for various accounting functions related to the Department of Chemistry’s cash-based accounts, including state-appropriated funds, auxiliaries, centers, IDC, Foundation, miscellaneous, and startup funding. As the largest college on campus, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is charged with teaching the university’s core curriculum. Expected Salary: |
The salary range is $19.50 - $23.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Minimum Requirements: |
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Proficiency with the myUFL (PeopleSoft) system highly desired. Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated advanced Excel skills highly preferred, including the creation of pivot tables. Experience with Enterprise Analytics (or formerly Enterprise Reporting) a plus. Particularly attentive to accuracy and attention to detail. Coursework in accounting is desirable. Excellent aptitude for math and good written and verbal communication skills are needed. Demonstrated ability to interact with people of varying educations and backgrounds preferred. |
