Job Description: | Program Management - Oversee the administrative, fiscal management, and daily operations of the intramural sports and sport club programs Personnel Management – Supervise, mentor, and evaluate full-time staff within unit. Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, coaching and evaluation processes for all intramural sports and sport club programs student staff Budget Management & Administration – Develop, submit, and manage program budget, including long-range financial objectives. Monitor budgets throughout the year with monthly reporting and operate fiscally responsible program areas. Evaluate equipment needs, develop equipment replacement plans. |
Expected Salary: |
$50,000 - $60,000 annually. |
Minimum Requirements: |
Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and four years of experience. Valid driver license. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Master’s Degree; four years of experience in intramural sports and sport club programs in a collegiate recreation setting; Knowledge of recreation and competitive sports including rules, administration of contests, and game management as demonstrated through past experience in a collegiate intramural/recreational sports setting. Knowledge of basic safety and risk management practices as they relate to recreational and competitive sports and all indoor and outdoor facilities as demonstrated through past event and facilities management. Leadership and supervisory skills to select, supervise, motivate, and evaluate student employees relative to work performance, crisis management, and peer relationships as demonstrated through past supervision of staff. Budgeting skills to manage multiple program budgets and prioritize use of funds. |
