Job Description:

Oversee the administration and operation of the intramural sports program and development of related budget

  • Conduct onboarding, on-going and in-boarding trainings and development
  • Scheduling of facilities
  • Evaluate equipment needs, develop equipment replacement plan, and provide for inventory control
  • Purchasing and reconciliation Intramural Sports purchases
  • Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures and policies
  • Coordinate with Athletic Training Program for coverage
  • Outreach with student organizations and departments

Oversee the administration and operation of sport clubs and development of related budgets

  • Conduct officer trainings and leadership series
  • Supervise the Sport Club Council
  • Scheduling of facilities
  • Evaluate equipment needs, develop equipment replacement plan
  • Purchasing and reconciliation Sport Club purchases
  • Compliance of trainings (officer’s, hazing, title IX/sexual harassment) branding
  • Serve in an advisor role to over 50+ sport clubs

Oversee Sport Programs Personnel

  • Hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervising, coaching, and evaluation for Assistant Director, Coordinators, Program Specialist, Program Assistants, interns and student staff for intramural sports and sport clubs
Expected Salary:

$65,000 - $71,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and four years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and six years of relevant experience

Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree; four years of experience in intramural sports and sport club programs in a campus recreation setting; understand intramural sports, sport clubs, and policies and procedures; ability to work with minimal supervision, to think laterally and to undertake initiatives; ability to effectively supervise; and is self-motivated, adaptable, a great team player and customer focused.
