An opportunity has arisen for a Works Allocation Assistant based on the Streatham Campus. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a small team of colleagues, supplying a high level of service. This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Direct Works, Works Allocation Team Leader, you will be a member of the Helpdesk and Works Allocation Team. The role is to allocate both internal and external works to contractors and our internal Electrical, Structural & Mechanical Services. Estate Services is responsible for the planning, safety, provision, adaptation and maintenance of buildings and associated services and for the development and maintenance of the University's estate.
We are looking for a customer focused team player who can work alone or in a team and be able to use initiative to prioritise work demands and meet deadlines. Having prior experience or qualifications in similar roles would be advantageous, you will have a starter/finisher mentality and methodical approach to work, as well as an understanding of all relevant health and safety legislation that accompanies these tasks.
