The College Merthyr Tydfil wishes to appoint a Work Experience Placement Officer to support the organisation, health and safety vetting and successful delivery of work experience placements, trips, events and visits for college learners.
Working as part of the college’s Health and Safety team, the successful post holder would be responsible for liaising with the college’s Employablity Team and Academic staff to plan, organise and undertake the appropriate health and safety vetting process for all college work experience and employbaility trips and events; ensuring that these are vetted and monitored in line with the Health and Safety standards.
This post is part funded through the Welsh Government Employment Bureau Funding, to support the commitment to The Young Person’s Guarantee (YPG), helping to ensure that everyone under the age of 25, living in Wales, has support to gain a place in education or training, and help to get into work or become self-employed
