Widening Participation Coordinator (Post-16)

The role of Widening Participation Coordinator (Post-16) is to support the Post-16 Widening Participation Team in delivering its widening participation schemes. The post-holder will provide core administrative support and deliver workshops for young people.

You will work on a variety of exciting and impactful projects, such as Realising Opportunities and The Sutton Trust Summer School, but your focus will be on K+. Other elements of the role include the management of the department's Travel fund and supervising student ambassadors during events.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will be a great communicator and able to adapt your communication to a range of audiences, such as young people, parents, teachers, academics and professional services members of staff.

You will join a team of highly motivated colleagues in a department consisting of three teams. The role will play an integral part in helping the department work towards meeting its Access and Participation Plan milestones, as well as fulfilling the Widening Participation Strategy.
