External Engagement and Global

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and successful digital team and play a key role in the development of the University of Exeter’s websites and digital communication channels.
The Digital Team in External Engagement and Global are responsible for the management of the University’s digital communications and marketing channels. This includes the design, maintenance and development of the University of Exeter website and social media presences, which play a critical role in communicating with and providing services to internal and external audiences and in marketing the University to prospective students, staff and external partners.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and managing the corporate websites and digital channels for our academic faculties and the central Digital Team, developing innovative approaches to online marketing, promotion and communication. The post holder will work closely with colleagues across the University, advising on the content, style and organisation of web pages and ensuring that our websites comply with web standards and accessibility as defined by the Web Team.
The ideal candidate will have recent, significant experience in a web support role, be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and technical skills and an understanding of online marketing and communication techniques.
