The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is seeking to recruit a Web and Digital Marketing Executive in the marketing team within the Directorate of External Relations. The post is based our Hawkshead Campus near Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in all aspects of marketing ideally with experience in the HE or FE sector. You will join a small proactive marketing team and will assist in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts. You’ll have experience of using a CMS to manage website content, accessibility, optimising digital content for SEO, website analytics, social media co-ordination and providing digital support to non-technical colleagues from across the university.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in the delivery of web strategy and digital marketing to help deliver the RVC’s objectives.
  • As part of website development redesigning web sections and building new sections or bespoke landing pages for online events, campaigns and key points in the student recruitment cycle such as clearing.
  • Production of all forms of digital content and collateral including but not limited to – video, photography and animations, digital infographics, display ads, web banners, MPUs and digital advertisements. 
  • Work as one of CRM (MS Dynamics and Click Dimensions) marketing super users building new campaigns and campaign templates, data capture forms for the website, creating source codes, marketing lists and producing reports for key stakeholders on effectiveness and ROI.
  • Social media co-ordination: creating and scheduling posts, creating content and using analytics to report on effectiveness.

We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys a varied workload; excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach are essential along with a customer-focused outlook and a positive, enthusiastic mind-set.
