We are now looking for two VR Content Developer and Trainers to join us on a full time 2 year fixed term basis, working 37 hours per week.

- THE ROLE –

The post holder will support the development, design and promotion of a new VR/AR Technologies Training Centre based at the University’s Carmarthen and Swansea campuses, developing and providing training on immersive experiences linked to upskilling regional businesses and their employees with higher level skills.

You will collaborate on building and deploying high-quality VR/AR experiences and ensuring applications run smoothly in both the immersive rooms and on VR headsets.

- ABOUT YOU -

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of building AR/VR experiences for training, gaming or marketing.
  • Ability to systematically create, review and test immersive experiences, applying an eye for detail to identify content and technical issues and to resolve or escalate as appropriate
  • Knowledge of game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.).
  • Ability to conveying complex information to help others understand, taking into account what to communicate and how best to convey the information to others
