The School of Law at Birmingham City University has been at the forefront of innovative law teaching for more than 40 years and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. We are seeking to build up our bank of Visiting Lecturers to deliver excellent teaching to our students and are keen to hear from talented individuals with the potential to contribute towards our programmes.

In applying for this vacancy you will be submitting your details to a Visiting Lecturer recruitment pool. Please note that Visiting Lecturer posts are part time, fixed term contracts for which a specific amount of hours work will be agreed between you and the Faculty. Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role.

As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss further details. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty. 

Recruitment pools will be closed at the end of September each year, at which point you will be contacted with an invite to resubmit your details for the following year’s recruitment pool if you would still like to be considered.
