Fixed-term contract for 1 year, full time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Manager to join our Programme Teaching Materials team. Reporting to the Senior Programme Teaching Materials Manager, this role involves the development, administration, and enhancement of digital teaching materials for a portfolio of accredited programmes at Saïd Business School.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the delivery of digital teaching materials for flagship courses and modules, ensuring accessibility and quality assurance.

- Lead teaching material enhancement projects, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

- Facilitate student use of specialist software and digital learning tools, adapting services to course requirements.

- Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to produce and maintain digital reading lists, ensuring compliance with copyright legislation and University policy.

- Administer resource procurement processes, including obtaining necessary copyright licenses and permissions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with platforms like Canvas or similar VLEs. They will show a genuine interest in higher education teaching and learning, along with a track record in designing and developing online content. Additionally, candidates should showcase engagement with accessible and inclusive teaching practices in higher education and possess experience collaborating with academic staff.
