The team
The Marketing department is part of the wider Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate on the planning and delivery of our marketing activity with colleagues across the wider Marketing team, directorate and the University. We have a strong ethos of collaboration and open communication, and are proud of our supportive team culture.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with skills in video editing. There will be opportunities to work with a wide range of different types of video, from social media content, to talking heads academic led content, to creative assets for our advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Video Content Producer, as well as contributing to the activity of the wider Marketing team at York St John University.

This role is only open to recent York St John University graduates. As it is a full time commitment, it will not be suitable for anyone studying on a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the 2024 to 2025 academic year.  

Required skills and experience

We are looking for a graduate with experience in using professional standard software to edit video content and assist in the production of our video assets. You will need to show creative flair as well as high levels of organisation. You will also need to work both independently and as part of the wider team.
