This full-time, permanent post: University Mentor (Associate Lecturer) for Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) Degree Apprenticeship Programme (BSc) is available immediately.

The role

The role will include providing support, mentoring and pastoral care to students and their line managers at organisations across the country. The role will also include supporting pedagogy, development of the academic mentor practice, student engagement and assessment. This role is specifically for academic mentoring and is not a research-based post.

About you

For this post you will:

  • Possess a depth or breadth of specialist knowledge demonstrated by a PhD (or nearing completion) or equivalent qualification/experience, of the core knowledge relating to Computer Science in order to support learning on the BSc Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) Degree Apprenticeship programme and develop and mark related exams, assignments and presentations.
  • Provide a first point of contact for students and line managers across their DTS programme.
