Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) which is based in central Cambridge, leverages the power of academia for real world impact to transform individuals, organisations and society. Since 1990, CJBS has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education, situated within one of the world's most prestigious research universities, and in the heart of the Cambridge Cluster, the most successful technology entrepreneurship cluster in Europe.

Cambridge Judge Business School is a highly ranked modern business school, located at the heart of an 800-year old University, with an ambitious and collegial faculty in the Organization Theory and Information Systems (OTIS) group. The OTIS group has developed a reputation for qualitative research that is rigorous, original and consequential, as evidenced by a strong publication record, 'deep engagement' with practitioners, high profile media coverage, and the strength of its PhD students.

The Organization Theory and Information Systems at CJBS is looking to recruit a research scholar in OTIS at the Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) or Lecturer (Assistant Professor) level. The group seeks to further increase its global visibility through its research outputs, including publications in core Information Systems and Management Journals as well as placing its PhD graduates in academic careers.

The ideal candidate would be someone with a promising research record as evidenced by publications in top journals. S/he would ideally but not necessarily have an interest in one or more of the following: digital innovation; digital entrepreneurship; technology and healthcare; technology and social inclusion; technology and organizational change; and analytics, big data and knowledge creation. The ideal candidate's theoretical/methodological orientations would include sociomateriality, practice theory, symbolic interactionism, institutional theory, and ethnography. The group is supportive of non-traditional research and is particularly welcoming of candidates unafraid to tackle 'grand challenge' topics in organizations and society more widely.

The teaching associated with the Lectureship / Senior Lectureship covers core and elective courses on the MBA, EMBA our various MPhil programmes, and the Management studies Tripos. Project administration and dissertation supervision is also expected.

Depending on the experience of the successful candidate, the appointment will be made at the Lecturer (Assistant Professor) or Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) level and anticipated to start on 1 September 2022.
