Your personal sphere of influence:

The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.

As a Prae-Doc University Assistant, you will join the research team led by Professor Dr. iur. Miloš Vec. Your responsibilities will include participation in research, teaching, and administrative activities, particularly contributing to academic studies, publications, and related projects.

Our research focuses primarily on the history of international law.

Professor Vec’s team currently consists of:

• 1 Postdoctoral Researcher
• 2 Prae-Doc Researchers
• 1 Administrative Staff Member

Your future tasks:

You will actively contribute to research, teaching, and administration, including:

• Participating in research projects and academic studies.
• Completing your dissertation agreement within 12–18 months.
• Working on and completing your doctoral dissertation.
• Independently teaching courses in accordance with collective agreement regulations.
• Performing administrative duties related to research and teaching.

This is part of your personality:

• Completed Master's or Diploma degree in Law.
• Initial experience in academic writing and research methodologies.
• Teaching skills and/or experience with e-learning.
• IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word and PowerPoint).
• Desirable: knowledge of the history of international law.
• Excellent English language skills (C1 level).
• Knowledge of an additional foreign language (where relevant).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
