We are looking for a recruitment professional who will both lead and actively contribute to the delivery of the Unitemps franchised recruitment service within the University of Northampton, achieving internal and external income targets in line with the annual business plan through the strategic direction and motivation of the team.

The successful candidate will deliver an excellent level of service to the new and existing clients of Unitemps, both internal and external, upholding the University’s reputation and improving levels of graduate employability through the provision of high quality temp, temp-perm, and permanent roles to students and graduates.

The Branch Manager will undertake labour market, competitor, customer and pricing analysis to identify and exploit new potential markets and benchmark Unitemps offerings to commercial clients. This intelligence will be used to develop a clear business development plan to expand commercial sales volumes in existing sectors and explore opportunities to develop and embed the full Unitemps Northampton offer in its franchise area.

This is a varied post which requires excellent communication and good problem solving skills. The position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team and to develop strategic plans whilst also being involved with delivery at an operational level.

About you

This is a diverse and busy post, giving the opportunity to provide a high quality recruitment offer to external and internal clients, whilst benefiting students by understanding and meeting their temporary and/or permanent employment needs.

You will have recent experience in recruitment or a customer sales/ service environment with a business development aspect. Alongside this you will have experience of managing successful client/ candidate relationships, and some line management experience.

You will have up to date knowledge of the local labour market and its implications for recruitment.

You will have excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
