Hours of work: 37 hours per week, normally worked Monday to Friday. Flexible working will be considered. Due to the nature of work, there will be occasions when work is undertaken during weekends and, inaddition to, and outside of, normal working hours

Salary: Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £20,850 per annum]

Role Description

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide engineering support to CIC’s testing activities through design, stress analysis of rigs and fixtures and research into new testing legislation. The role will be based in the testing laboratory, on campus at Cranfield University. The successful applicant will be expected to develop new testing methodologies in motorsport and other related industries. This will involve working closely alongside CIC’s engineers and technicians.

About You

The successful applicant will have completed at least on year of an engineering degree, in a relevant subject. No previous working experience is required, as full training will be provided. It would however be an advantage if you have previous experience working in mechanical workshops, or if you have experience working with hand tools.
