Tutor in Health & Social Care - Birmingham

The School of Applied Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Tutor to support the Faculty’s growing provision at our Study Hub in Birmingham.  Based in Birmingham city centre, the appointee will undertake teaching in Health and Social Care alongside a team of colleagues. 

The appointee’s teaching will be on a range of foundation year and undergraduate units in Health and Social Care. A broad-base of health and social care knowledge and the ability to engage diverse students returning to learning without strong study skills is an essential requirement. For the Tutor post, applicants should ideally be willing and able to act as employability lead for the course. This will involve assisting students to understand graduate employment and to build local health and social care contacts for students to engage with in their career development units.

A minimum level of a Masters qualification in a health and/or social care topic is required.
