Tutor in Health and Social Care (3 positions)

The School of Applied Social Sciences is seeking to appoint 2 fulltime and 1 part time 0.5FTE Tutor to support the Faculty’s growing provision at our Study Hub in Birmingham. We are also recruiting for 1 post at our London Bridge Campus. Based in Birmingham city centre and London Bridge, the appointee will undertake teaching in Health and Social Care alongside a team of colleagues.

The appointee’s teaching will be on a range of foundation year and undergraduate courses in Health and Social Care. A broad-base of knowledge and the ability to engage diverse students returning to learning without strong study skills is an essential requirement. For the Tutor post, applicants must have a minimum Masters level qualification in a relevant health and social care topic.

Hours: Full time and part-time positions available

Contract: Fixed term contract, full time and part timers welcome.

  • 0.5FTE contract Birmingham until 31 July 2022 in the first instance.
  • 1 Full time or part timers welcome until  30 September 2022 London Bridge in the first instance.
  • 1 Full time or part timers welcome until 30 September 2022 Birmingham in the first instance.
  • Location: Birmingham and London Bridge
