£30,497 to £34,304 per annum together with USS benefits

Primarily based at Singleton Campus

The posts are based within the Department of Economics which is situated in the School of Social Sciences. The Department currently consists of twenty academic staff and a varying number of research officers and post graduate research students.

The Department is committed to an ambitious development agenda, to build further its international reputation for innovative research and impact, and to maintain and improve its already excellent standards in teaching and student experience. A student-centred learning environment is provided at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and our staff are friendly, accessible and focused on delivering an engaging and innovative programme of study. 

Tutor post holders contribute to high quality teaching, student assessment (in a wide variety of forms), as well as providing dissertation project supervision in Economics, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  

In addition, the sharing of organisational and academic administrative responsibilities may be required.
