Would you like to be instrumental in the development of medical devices? As a Translational Project Manager, you will implement, manage and deliver projects supported by the Office for Translational Research (OTR) and funded notably by NIHR.

We are seeking a proactive and solution-focussed experienced Project Manager to take up this senior role in the team. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate a track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships, especially those that cross institutional and cultural boundaries. Applicants will have direct experience of project and stakeholder management skills. A strong interest and empathy for medical research and ideally knowledge of medical device development.

The role holder will assist the principal academic in the prioritisation of tasks within each project in order to meet milestones. This will involve financial projections and tracking, assisting the project team and researchers for the preparation of technical files and regulatory submissions, optimising the interaction between the different partners on the project and working with the research teams to deliver project objectives within agreed time and financial constraints. The role will involve management of outsourced relationships and contracts to industrial and academic partners.

The post holder will be an employee of the University of Cambridge's Office for Translational Research and be a member of the School of Clinical Medicine.
