An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Education Technician to join the School of Education.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage and deliver high quality technical support services across the teaching laboratory and workshop space used by the School of Education, including providing specialist technical expertise in relevant technological disciplines.

The postholder will have responsibility for the organisation and day-to-day running of the laboratory, workshop and specialist facilities. This includes ensuring equipment, apparatus and consumables are available for use as required.

In addition, the postholder will be responsible for overseeing the work of the teaching support staff and practical skills laboratory sessions for MDTechEd students. 

This post is offered on an open ended (permanent) basis and will be full time (35 hours per week), during term time (36 weeks) to tie in with the University term dates.
