Our university-accredited courses and expert-led business support scheme can help individuals and organisations to adapt to both the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0.

We are now looking for three Teaching and Research Associates to join our team as fully funded PhD students and part time employees.

THE ROLE

These part time roles will be carried out alongside a part time fully funded PhD supported by the University. Alongside your academic research, the main purpose of this role will be to work closely with the MADE Cymru team to focus on delivering of content in the areas of Blockchains, Operational Technology Cyber-security or Machine Learning. You will deliver key lectures in your research area to support the delivery of the MADE Cymru programme Industry 4.0 modules.

You will support the delivery of the MADE Cymru portfolio by working closely with lecturers to create innovative learning experiences, and develop and maintain the virtual learning environment (VLE) for specific modules and programmes. You will be highly supported in your own personal development with the opportunity to gain academic and practical experience and skills.

ABOUT YOU

You should have an honours degree in an Engineering, Computing or associated Technology related discipline with a postgraduate (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline or nearing completion. In addition you must have experience in one of the following areas; Blockchain, Operational Technology Cyber security or Machine Learning as well as a high level of digital literacy
You will need to be organised and manage an administrative workload ensuring compliance with health and safety matters, including risk assessments and to build and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
