We are looking for two enthusiastic, experienced, and adaptable Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Co-ordinators to join our dedicated Student Support and Wellbeing teams in the School of Biological Sciences.


This role is integral to the delivery of both School’s Student Support, Wellbeing and Pastoral service.

You will be responsible for ensuring that an excellent level of service is provided to all our students as well as developing and maintaining working relationships with key internal and external partners and stakeholders (i.e. academics, NHS, Counselling Services, Disability Advice and Support Services) to ensure a collaborative approach to Student Wellbeing Support.

The Student Support and Wellbeing team are responsible for providing front-line welfare and pastoral support as well as being responsible for the operational delivery of mitigating circumstances, change of circumstances, and attendance and engagement monitoring.

You will have experience of supporting the wellbeing of students with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team. You must also be able to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of academic and pastoral support procedures and processes in relation to the provision of postgraduate taught and/or undergraduate education and have experience of providing pastoral support to students.

These roles currently have a hybrid working option. Please note that the Co-ordinator roles in the Student Support and Wellbeing teams are primarily student-facing and therefore there is a requirement to work on campus a minimum of 2 days per week but may be more when there is a business need.
