Applications are invited for a full-time, permanent Teaching Fellow positions in the Department of Psychology, School of Life Sciences and the Environment. The post is available from 1 August 2024.  

The role involves teaching, supervision, and administration across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Applicants should hold a PhD, have experience of conducting high quality psychological research, and have the ability to make strong contributions to our taught programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They should be enthusiastic about delivering effective high-quality teaching, with prior experience in teaching and research, and ideally experience in course coordination, curriculum development, pedagogic research and/or broader initiatives to enhance student experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one of the applied areas of psychology (e.g., clinical, forensic, health, applied social, developmental, occupational), although applicants with expertise in other areas will also be considered.

The post holders will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching. There is a strong research environment, with the Department ranked 3rd in the UK in the 2021 REF for our world-leading and internationally excellent research.
