Teaching Fellow in Events Management

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Fellow in Events Management. The successful candidate will be central to the effective development, delivery and assessment of student learning and will contribute directly to providing an outstanding student experience for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Across the School's UG and PG portfolios we provide high quality education with a focus on excellence in teaching and learning, and our community of students and staff is truly global. Our programmes are accredited by a wide range of professional and accrediting bodies, including AMBA, EFMD EPAS, ACCA, CIPD, CMI and CIM.

Full time, Permanent, Academic (part time applications will also be welcome)

As a Teaching Fellow in Events Management you will be responsible for:

  • To teach on and where appropriate lead modules across Undergraduate and Postgraduate areas;
  • To undertake the development of teaching materials, including the preparation of assignments and tests, modular handbooks and syllabi, as well as the moderation of assignments, and record-keeping;
  • To undertake marking activities, attend meetings, participate in staff development activities and fulfil other duties commensurate with the grade and responsibility of the post holder.

You should have:

  • First degree (or equivalent) and/or a Teaching in HE qualification and/or higher postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) and/or substantive relevant industry experience
  • Teaching Experience in HE
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of successfully working as part of a team.
