Teaching Associate

The School of Pharmacy are seeking to recruit a temporary Teaching Associate to provide high quality teaching and assessment in all aspects of the undergraduate BSc, MSc and MPharm programmes, and other such duties that fall within the general ambit of the post.

About the person

The successful applicant must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate, that you meet the following criteria:

  • Hold an Honours Degree or equivalent (2:1 or higher) in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy or closely related discipline
  • Have a relevant PhD related to Pharmaceutical Science
  • Experience of teaching/supervising/mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students
  • Experience of administration commensurate with stage in career

This is a fixed term (maternity cover) post available for 12 months from July 2024. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
