Salary: £31406 to £40927 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation and for the allied health professions.  

The School’s mission is ‘to provide excellent healthcare education and undertake outstanding research that inspires our students and staff to transform the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities and make an enlightened and valued contribution to society’.  

The School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Associate in Midwifery to contribute teaching and related activities on undergraduate and (where appropriate) postgraduate midwifery programmes. The candidate must have current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), experience in midwifery and of supporting midwifery students in clinical placements. The post will be based in Nottingham but you will be expected to travel to clinical placement areas as appropriate.  

This is permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
