£30942 to £40322 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Department of Music at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching on a range of undergraduate courses including Elements of Music 1 and 2, Repertoires of Music 1 and 2, and Dissertation, and to convene the module Performance 1. The role holder may also be asked to contribute to teaching in other areas of the curriculum, as appropriate, including the supervision of MRes students. At the time of application, candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in musicology (broadly defined), music theory and analysis or a closely related field. They must also have previous teaching experience at Higher Education level.

This post is part-time (18.13 hrs per week), fixed-term for 8 months starting 1st November 2021.
