About the Role

Applications are invited for a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support our programme leads in the delivery, development, assessment and administration of several of our postgraduate taught programmes including Clinical Drug Development, Healthcare Research Methods and Clinical Research and Forensic Medical Sciences.

About You

The successful candidate will be dynamic and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload. Experience of teaching support in higher education is essential as well as enjoying being in a student-facing role.

The William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI) is well known for its strategic commitment to the highest quality teaching and offers excellent educational, cultural and social experiences for students thanks to its rich heritage. The Institute as a whole consists of some 375 staff, with another over 100 further Honorary and Visiting staff, often clinicians based at Barts and the London Health Trust.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a full time permanent appointment with an expected start date in October 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 4 in the range of £34,733 - £40,797 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
