This post-holder will play a key role in the support of undergraduate Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences programmes alongside the existing experienced team. The support within the team will allow those with limited experience of the teaching environment to develop these skills in a dynamic but supportive way.

To undertake this role, you must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently both as part of a team and autonomously.

The main duties of the role include:

•    Assisting module tutors in practical, laboratory or theoretical teaching sessions.

•    Assisting staff with field trips, visits and other activities which require additional staffing across the department.

•    Participation in the reach-out activity of the department.

•    Support of the research activity of the department

•    Participation in the broader academic and corporate life of the University, which will require occasional weekend work (e.g. Open Day recruitment events)
