With enthusiasm for teaching in electronic and electrical engineering, this is an opportunity to build your experience in teaching within the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. The School is one of the leading Electronic and Electrical Engineering schools in the UK, with over 100 years’ experience in both teaching and research excellence. We are in the top five in the UK for the quality of our research, and in teaching we are ranked 4th  in the UK in the three major university league tables for 2020. The University of Leeds achieved a Gold rating in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), an indication of our wholehearted commitment to delivering an excellent student education.

We currently have over 700 students from 60 countries studying with us and we also have around 45 academic staff engaged in teaching and research. We now need to recruit additional teaching and assessment support for delivery of our laboratory and examples classes, and for supervising student projects. You will be making an important contribution to ensuring our students receive an outstanding educational experience.

You will have technical experience in electronic and electrical engineering, backed by a Masters or PhD qualification. In addition to effective teaching skills, you will demonstrate an ability to work in a cross-cultural team and possess excellent communication skills.
