The post is an 11 month, 0.4 appointment to cover staff sabbaticals.

As a member of the relevant teaching teams within the School of Music, to design, co-ordinate, supervise and deliver units of teaching and assessment on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in ethnomusicology and pop/jazz/popular culture. To also undertake required academic and teaching related administrative duties in relation to the delivery of that teaching and assessment, and the programmes as a whole.

You will be assigned an academic line manager, and the support of a mentor is available.

This post is part-time (14 hours per week) and fixed-term until 31 July 2025.

Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum, pro-rata for hours worked (Grade 6)
