Based at Medway, you will coordinate the Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA) student administration for a large number and wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate taught apprenticeship programmes and support an excellent student experience. You will therefore need a good understanding of the relevant policies and procedures and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and to work with minimal supervision.

Please note that this role is based full time at the Medway campus throughout the week. Hybrid working is not suitable for this role.  

As Taught Programmes Coordinator you will:

  • provide highly effective administrative support to the Course & Administration Manager in close liaison with other supervisory staff within an education-related portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with University and the Educational Skills Funding Agency regulations;
  • coordinate and supervise all elements to the End Point Assessment, liaising with internal and external examiners concerning more complex matters;
  • ensure student records, programmes databases and student data systems are accurate and up to date in line with University policy and GDPR regulations;
  • manage all taught programme enquiries, providing information and assistance to staff and students of GLL, as well as handling internal and external enquiries in relation to the End Point Assessment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong administration experience, preferably within an educational organisation, but not essential
  • Experience of co-ordinating a small team
  • good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level) and experience of using spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis
  • excellent interpersonal skills including a helpful and responsive manner with the ability to remain calm when under pressure
