Cardiff University IT are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead on the technical implementation of a major new Research Management System. Working with the nominated supplier, the role will work closely with the key stakeholders to implement and roll out this new IT system. They will then provide ongoing support and development as the system moves into production as a live service.  

The role is highly varied, with tasks in systems implementation and administration, programming and configuration, reporting, systems analysis, and interfacing. The role holder will be required to provide advice, training, and guidance on the technical aspects of the new Research systems, and liaise with customers, suppliers, and other IT teams to ensure the best possible service is provided.

The post is full-time and open ended.

Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum (Grade 6).
