Design Factory Birmingham at Aston University has been funded by the UKSPF to support the delivery of a project called "ShropAgri" for companies in Shropshire to get support from Aston University. "ShropAgri" is concerned with the promotion and advancement of design and technology projects in the Agricultural sector. 

We are looking for someone to join the team to organise and deliver boot camps in the area of sustainability across the Agri market in Shropshire, and be able to assist companies in solving problems in this area. You will have a degree or relevant experience in the delivery of projects relating to:

  • Biomass analysis
  • Food science (food chemistry, food microbiology and food biotechnology).
  • Food waste valorisation
  • Waste management
  • Food based-polymers and bio based-polymers
  • Sustainable food production
  • Bio-based materials and products
  • Energy efficiency and carbon accounting

You will create and deliver the boot camps in Shropshire over the next 12 months in line with the goals of UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
