We're looking for a UoB student to join our team with a passion for creating engaging, creative and relevant content and who wants to gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced and multifaceted team.
The role will focus mainly on covering a wide range of SU events, gathering photo and video footage and creating event-focused content for our TikTok. You’ll use your skills to deliver inclusive content that speaks to our ever-changing student audience and adds value to their experience at University and interactions with the SU.
This role will work closely with our Marketing Manager and Social Media Executive to produce content which captures students' imaginations on social media and our digital platforms through video, event coverage, copywriting and asset distribution.
Role: SU Student TikTok Content Creator
Hours: Required 12 hours/month* (Ad hoc may include evenings and weekends), zero-hours contract
*We can be flexible around University timetables and other commitments.
Salary: £12 per hour plus holiday pay
Contract: Fixed Term until Summer 2025

- You’ll have experience in capturing and creating content for social and digital platforms from creative briefs.
- You have prior experience creating engaging short video content for social media and reacting to emerging trends
- You’re passionate about social media and content creation and want hands-on experience in a fast-paced team.
- You’ll like being on-camera and are comfortable interviewing and speaking to students on campus.
