NIHR BioResource for Translational Research (NIHR BioResource) is recruiting a Study Coordinator (RNA Phenotyping Project) to be responsible for recruiting and recalling participants into the Rare Disease RNA Phenotyping project on time and to target.

NIHR BioResource is a unique and powerful resource for studying disease mechanisms and for investigating the links between genes, the environment, health and disease, enabling scientific discoveries as well as facilitating translational medicine for the benefit of patients.
The goal of the NIHR BioResource Rare Disease project is to drive forward diagnosis and gene discovery for patients with rare genetic diseases.

Reporting to the Rare Disease RNA Phenotyping Project Manager, the role will coordinate and support recall project related activities and events, liaising with internal & external stakeholders as required.
Candidates should be educated to HND/HNC, Level 4/5 vocational qualifications or equivalent experience that is relevant to the post, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

This appointment is full-time, 36.5 hours per week.
NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) as part of a 5 year funding cycle. The funds for this post are available until 30 November 2022 in the first instance. A further 5 years of NIHR funding will be dependent on our successful application for renewal.
Our offices are on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, CB2 0QQ (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre). Work - life balance is important, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are open to discussion on flexible working.
