- Consenting patients and collecting clinical data
- Coordinate and arrange follow-up visits for all patients recruited
- Assessment and entry of clinical data

- To provide administrative support to the TOUR team as needed
- Manage activities of the TOUR team in line with KCL policy and procedures and with the Standard Operating Procedures of the R&D Department
- To participate in inspections of the studies by sponsor auditors, regulatory authorities and others, ensuring key documents are readily available

Further information
The Translational Oncology and Urology Research (TOUR) team aims to translate science into better healthcare by translating uro-oncology research into medical practice. TOUR is led by Prof Mieke Van Hemelrijck. The translational work of the group encompasses a heterogeneous set of activities in the area of prostate, bladder, renal, and testicular cancer: epidemiology, bioinformatics, immunology, histopathology, randomized clinical trials, patient care and experience, radiotherapy, etc. However, the TOUR team is also leading Guy’s Cancer Real World Evidence Programme, which focuses on all types of cancer treated at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
TOUR brings together a team of researchers, clinicians, students, research nurses, trial coordinators, and database managers who are active across the field of translational research – covering both bed and bench side whilst contributing their own skills and knowledge.
For this specific project, we will work closely with the Urology team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (Mr Rick Popert).
This post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service and Occupational Health clearance.
