An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Non-Standard Support Team in the College of Business and Social Sciences responsible for administering our Full-time and Executive Part-time MBA Programmes, Level 6 and Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship Programmes, ABS Aston Online Programmes, BSc and MSc Business Enterprise Development Programmes and the PG Certificate in Entrepreneurial Team Coaching.  

You will be responsible for assisting the Student Support Leads and Student Support Officers in providing full and comprehensive support to students on these programmes.  You will be expected to acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to cover all aspects of the role, but the primary focus will be on Student Support and supporting initiatives to improve the student experience. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the Director of MBA Programmes and you will be responsible for the organisation and servicing of Committees and other meetings designed to elicit feedback from students.

Educated to A-level or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector.   Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for the role, along with the ability to work without close supervision.  Experience of working with SITS Students Records System and Blackboard VLE is also desirable together with experience of Committee Servicing.
