The opportunity

This role will contribute to the successful delivery of UAL's international student recruitment strategy. Working within the University of the Arts London’s Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions (SMRA) department, and with guidance from the Student Recruitment Manager, you will support the University in realising its student recruitment targets from priority international markets.

This will include the operational management and delivery of international recruitment activities, particularly focussing on the planning, implementation and evaluation of the online recruitment activity schedule, aimed at prospective international student audiences in priority markets and globally. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the SMRA department to develop coordinated, data-led marketing and recruitment plans, and take responsibility for the management of relevant overseas agent and feeder school relationships.

You will raise UAL brand awareness, deliver excellent customer service across the international prospective student journey from enquiry to enrolment, and provide input into the development of a suite of recruitment materials, across relevant platforms, that are tailored to the needs of prospective international students.

About you

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a proven track record of successfully delivering student recruitment activities in a higher education context, especially online and utilising the latest virtual platforms. You will have experience of managing relationships with agents and feeder institutions. The role requires effective internal and external liaison and you will act as a key ambassador representing the University. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively across a diverse set of audiences. You will be collaborative, target-driven, and a strong team player with a flexible approach to work. The role will include travel in the UK, EU and internationally. Disclosure and Barring Service Check is required.

If you have any questions please contact Leila Farrance at [email protected]

To be considered for this role, a satisfactory Basic DBS check is required in addition to our standard pre-employment checks.
