About this role: We are looking for two part-time Student & Programme Support Officer to join our Student and Programme Support Teams. One role is based at our City Campus working 18.5 hours per week across Wednesday to Friday. The other role is based at our Glenside campus working 18.5 hours per week, days to be discussed at interivew. You will lead and manage Student & Programme Team Administrators and report to the Student & Programme Team Leader.

You will work collaboratively with academic and professional service teams supporting the student journey, and helping students achieve success in their studies. Ensuring delivery of a professional service through workload management and coordination for customers.

About you: You will have strong customer service ethos, enthusiasm and proactivity, and an ability to prioritise. You will be expected to provide advice and support to our customers both internally and externally.

Our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects.

Our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. 

We do have Student and Programme Support teams based at all our campuses and you may be asked to work from the other campuses from time to time, this could be to attend training, team meetings or to support other teams. There are also peak times during the academic calendar when taking leave is restricted and additional hours may be required to ensure core tasks are achieved.

There will be times when workloads are high, and you will be managing competing deadlines and requests.  It is therefore essential that you are resilient, flexible, and able to approach your work in a calm and professional manner. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills. You will be supported in learning this role and given opportunities to develop your skills and experience. UWE, Bristol is a campus-based University. This role requires staff to be on campus most of the time though there may be times when working from home is possible.

You’ll work well within a team and have a wide range of administrative experience.  You will also need to have good IT skills including email and MS Office.

Interviews are scheduled to take place at our Frenchay Campus on the week commencing 22 April.

These are part-time, permanent posts, working 18.5 hours per week.
