Role Description

We welcome applications from friendly and professional persons to manage a range of services relating to our support of international students.

About the Role

You will manage a range of initiatives to support the recruitment and studies of international students, including managing overseas visa applications, visa extension applications and in-country transfers under the UK points-based immigration system, as well as general advice and support for international students overseas and while they are at the University. 

You will have extensive engagement with staff and students, providing the advice and support they need to ensure a positive student experience.

About You

You will need to demonstrate initiative and work pro-actively to advise and support students through direct advice and work with staff right across the University to provide clear advice and guidance on a range of issues. 

You will be degree qualified or equivalent experience and excellent interpersonal skills.  A strong customer focus with previous experience of giving information to service users is essential.  You will also have, or the ability to develop quickly, knowledge of Student visa of the UK points-based-immigration system. 

The role is based on our Cranfield campus, but you will be required to travel to our campus in Shrivenham (near Swindon) from time to time.
