We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Student Experience & Quality Manager to co-ordinate and manage support for student experience, quality, policy, and regulatory functions at Teesside University London.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A proactive individual who is passionate about delivering an outstanding student experience and ensuring exemplary quality standards at TU London.  You will manage a small team delivering services which are integral to the effective operation of TU London working collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues across the campus.  In this role you will provide expertise in the implementation and monitoring of academic quality policies and regulations. In addition you will ensure that all student services provided on campus meet or exceed student expectations.

Your responsibilities will include the management of a customer service excellence approach across all quality and student support functions at TU London. You will provide advice and guidance in relation to regulatory and assessment and compliance issues. Key elements of the role include coordination of student communications, compliance and assessment activity, provision of advice and student support. The role involves being a key contact with the Student Union and liaison with a range of stakeholders in the wider University community.

You will have knowledge and experience of key developments in area of responsibility, including a good understanding of the internal and external HE regulatory environment and their impact on academic quality and delivery. You will have a good understanding of the interrogation, manipulation, analysis and application of data. You will have demonstrable experience in the delivery of services at a professional level and the co-ordination of internal/external audit activities.

Your skills and expertise will include a flexible, pragmatic and responsive approach to the development of systems and strategy, appropriate to the changing needs of TU London. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to confidently liaise and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders, quickly building rapport. People management skills with experience of supervising and managing a team, including identifying skills gaps and needs is essential for this role.
