This new part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available immediately on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role
The Student Experience Officer (SEO) will work across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences Departments on the University’s Streatham Campus to coordinate activities that enhance the student experience. These will include supporting existing networks and activities, and helping to design, promote, deliver, evaluate, and embed initiatives and activities that enhance the student experience. The SEO will work directly on priority areas for enhancing the student experience and ensure the spread of best practice across the relevant departments.

About Learning Experiences & Innovation
LXI consists of seven main units; Educator Development, Student Voice & Change, Learning Development, Learning Design, Experimentation & Innovation; Programme Design & Quality Enhancement, and Educational Policy, Quality & Standards. The teams work alongside and in support of several portfolios focussed on the University’s key strategic aims (Online Education, Education Strategic Delivery, Innovation Piloting and Scaling, and Taught Portfolio) and the priorities of its Faculties (Environment, Science and Economy; Health and Life Sciences; Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences).

LXI is part of the Education and Academic Services which brings together all the key administration and educational support that underpins the student and educator experience. Alongside LXI this includes Faculty Operations, Sport, Arts and Culture and all elements of Education and Student Support.
