Student Experience and Pastoral Coach

Derby College Group (DCG) have a new opportunity for a Student Experience & Pastoral Coach to join our team and work alongside specific academies to identify students in need of pastoral support. This is a great chance to join a supportive and vibrant team within the College, and you will see first-hand the positive impact you make on the lives of our students. You will work directly with the students and their families to establish and implement a Pastoral Support Plan, with a specific focus on attendance and behaviours.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic and ambitious individual to join our Student Experience team at our historic Roundhouse Campus. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and hold a level 3 in coaching and/or mentoring or a willingness to work towards this. You also will be a Mental Health First Aider or willing to work toward achieving this.
