We invite applications for a Student Engagement Project Officer to support the strategic education project ‘Improving Student Engagement’ which is a critical pillar of the Queen Mary University of London 2030 Strategy (https://www.qmul.ac.uk/strategy-2030/ ).

The role holder will be providing management support and co-leadership for the two project workstreams ‘Values-Based Engagement’ and ‘Online Learning Communities’. More specifically”

1.co-creating activities with students to help embed QM’s IPACE values (Inclusive – Proud – Ambitious – Collegial – Ethical) in student engagement and to co-develop QM’s future online learning cmmunities; and

2.the development of a peer-led team learning (PLTL) approach for QM, building on previous conceptual work with Florida International University.

The posts are based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is fixed term appointment for 12 months, with an expected start in early August 2021. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,220-£40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Appointments are usually made at the start of the salary range.
