In this role you will deliver a full programme of enrichment activities at our Angel campus and lead on cross campus planning of sports enrichment and Duke of Edinburgh award

About the role:
You will work with the other Student Engagement Officers, the Enrichment Manager, and the Head of Hubs to plan, organise, deliver, and evaluate an exciting and wide-ranging Student Enrichment & Engagement Programme that includes:

  • Student events
  • Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award
  • Student ambassadors & social action

Each of our Student Engagement Officers will be primarily based at one of our 3 campuses either at Holloway, Finsbury Park or Angel.  This role is primarily based at Angel campus although you will travel to other centres and other venues that we use.

You will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the whole student enrichment and engagement programme, including a large variety of clubs and societies, student events, awareness raising workshops and student voice activities, at the campus where you are based.  In addition, each enrichment officer leads on coordinating the cross-campus planning of an area.  For this role we are looking for someone to lead on the cross-campus planning of:

About you:

You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is open to a challenge and enjoys working within a creative, supportive, and fast paced team. You will have a range of L1 and /or L2 coaching qualifications across a variety of sports and preferably a fitness instructor qualification.  You will have at least two years’ experience working with young people (aged 16-19). You will have experience of youth engagement, group facilitation, event/project planning and coaching.  If you have experience of delivering the D of E award this is a bonus.

You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and be passionate about young people's engagement, participation, and skills development; you will be innovative and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and enjoy working as part of a team as well as having an ability to work independently. You will have excellent organisational, problem solving, planning and group facilitation skills and an ability to network and build partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CCCG team who are passionate and dedicated to providing our students with the best possible teaching and training to fulfil the futures best suited to them. We recognise how hard our people work towards ensuring our students are supported throughout all areas of their college experience, and thus we provide an excellent set of employee benefits.

Our employees benefit from:
