We’re looking for a communications professional with a creative mind and a passion for helping students succeed. We want someone with the expertise, skills and personal attributes to effectively engage students in the life of the University and, as a result, improve their experience and life chances.

You’ll be working in the Student Experience and Engagement team and will have specific responsibility for creating communications campaigns and delivering engaging content to students through a range of channels. You need to operate with integrity and professionalism and have knowledge of how to enhance engagement and encourage behaviour change.

We’re looking for someone with experience of delivering communications, marketing and engaging with internal or external audiences through a range of appropriate channels. We want you to be able to demonstrate how you’ve delivered effective communications campaigns and your strong relationship management skills. You’ll need to respond robustly and flexibly to an evolving university and HE landscape and be able to manage a complex workload delivering both shared and individual objectives.

The University of Salford’s Student Experience and Engagement Team, as part of the broader Directorate of Student and Academic Support, champions the student experience to ensure that our students are at the heart of everything we do.
