About the Role

An opportunity has arisen to join the Student and Academic Support Team in the role of SAS Lead. Based at our Shrivenham Site at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom you will be joining a friendly and supportive team, committed to improving the quality of the student experience. As the key point of contact for students, and staff you will provide advice, guidance, and help on specific courses and will be responsible for the delivery of academic administration and student support, ensuring high levels of customer service and student satisfaction.

You will play an important role in managing the needs of a group of people, and balancing conflicting priorities of importance between them. The role will also include preparing evidence and documentation for decisions to be made on student academic progress, while being confident in advising on the most likely outcome.

Occasional travel to the Cranfield Campus may be required.

About You

With prior experience of academic administration, preferably from within a Higher Education institution you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing and leading in a customer service environment. With the required level of IT literacy, including the use of word, email, internet use, and database applications, you will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. In addition you must be able to prioritise and delegate work accordingly to ensure you can effectively and sensitively deal with difficult situations that arise.
